HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL OF YOU!
I HOPE THIS PAST year has been kind to you. My family and I wish you the very best in 1987. We are doing just fine. I am going on my 7th year at the law firm I work for. Danny has been selling Pontiacs since summer and doing well. Kelly is in the 4-year-old class in his nursery school. My older kids are fine also -- Allison is looking forward to graduating from high school in the spring and also works as a cashier at a grocery store and baby-sits. Mark and Kyle are in 10th grade in the same high school and both have jobs after school and on weekends.
I'm just sitting here on December 22nd and thinking that I ought to get this done... I've waited so long -- you are not receiving this until after Christmas -- I do hope your holidays are great.
My parents are here from Kentucky and my older kids will be up for Christmas day for food and presents. As usual, I am not prepared. I am very unorganized lately, and pretty forgetful ... think it has to do with age? The cat is in my lap. I'm looking at the new paint on my living room walls (my Christmas present). The only problem is that we can't figure out what color it is because it sure isn't what I thought I got. We have done some repairs on our old house (new roof and trim work). After 5 years we can put up the buckets that caught the leaks from our ceiling. Just kidding, no not really, but Danny didn't want me to put that in.
Well, on with the newsletter. Hopefully, I can get it printed tomorrow and address the labels tonight (if I can find them) and mail it out the day after Christmas. I have to spend Christmas Eve at the Mall. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
DONATIONS
Thank you for donations that helped get this newsletter to you: Harry and Pemy Anion (twice!), Jon and Terri Goodfleish, Ken and Kris Strand Meyer, Dick and Linda Tjcker Prater, Mrs. Monte Hartig, Bucky and Cynthia Allshouse, Mike and Terry Wagner, Joanna Dyas and her husband Butch Smith, and Mike Fausett and his wife. THANK YOU
THE FIRST THING I want to say is that TOM McDOUGALL is with CAROL and not Linda in Hawaii like I stated in the last newsletter -- Oops - Sorry guys...
I heard from Bucky and Cynthia Allshouse. Bucky is a partner in the law firm of Shaffer, Bennett & Allshouse in Houston. They are in the process of building a new home (if it isn't finished yet). Their builder is none other than JOHN HARTIG.
TERRY ENGLISH has resigned from Randolph and is now head Coach of the Navarro Panthers. Congratulations and good luck.
CONGRANUTIONS to HARRY AND PENNY AMON on the birth of their daughter, BAILEY JANE, born June 25, 1986 -- She weighed in at 8lbs, 5oz. I suppose she is getting around really good by now. I have a really lovely picture. Thank you for sending, I will put it in the Alumni scrapbook for the next reunion.
PAM McCALL SMITH is now in Dallas, She is living with her father who is recovering from a stroke. Her mother passed away last year after a long illness. She and her two daughters, Lauren, 4 and Jessie, 8, are doing fine. Pan quit her job in Colorado as an office manager for an oil company to stay full time with her Dad. Pam suggested that on the next address list that I divide the list by states. I will try that out next time. Be sure to keep me up to date with your addresses.
BILL BORELLIS is doing quite well in the insurance game. We have had several talks and he has been traveling around and has run into and visited a few of you. Thank you Bill for your support. Hope you and your wife enjoy your vacation with sister Sherry.

BETSY NORMAN KEHOE is doing fine -- husband JOHN has been ill -- but I understand that he is recovering. Their two children, Shannon and John, Jr. are growing like weeds and they just moved into a new house.
MIKE WAGNER is still writing and writing -- I think I am going to publish a collection of Mike's letters to me -- They are so long, informative and very funny. Mike has kept me up to date on the step by step progress of his daughter, RISHON. They have gone on several trips and seem to be doing very well. Love you Mike.

MIKE FAUSETT writes to say that his family just returned from vacation in the Caribbean, Epcot and Disney World -- Daughters, Shannon 13, and Julie, 11, really loved Epcot. I can't believe it since it seems like he just moved to California, but they have been 8 years in the same home and he is still building homes in the San Diego area. Good to hear from you again Mike. Please try to send me JAY ELDRIDGE and MARK RASTIAN's addresses. thanks...
JOANNA DYAS SMITH writes to let us know that husband BUICH is at the Pentagon -- Their girls, Jody and Melissa (9 and 10) are busy with school, soccer, etc. She is working at a special school for the Emotionally disturbed (7th and 8th grades). She starts graduate school in January. She mentions in closing that she can't believe that the class of '65 turns 40 this year! Consolation is -- THE CLASS OF '64 and '63 are already 40..... ha ha
JANET RIMMER MUSKE and her husband, Bill are still in Houston where her husband is a minister at Willow Park Baptist Church. Jan has "retired" from teaching school and took a travel course and landed a job in a travel agency and loves it!! Son Richard (8) is in the 2nd grade and daughter Susan (4k) is in pre-kindergarten. Her and her husband have recently started scuba diving and are now certified scuba divers. They even went to Cozumel, Mexico for their Open Water Certification (bet that was beautiful)
Well I know you all have lots of news to write me so I can let everyone know what you are doing, so please just pick up a pen and drop me a few lines -- if not about yourself then about someone else we all know. I will be looking forward to it.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
